If you have items or services that you would like to donate, or you have an influential contact at a company that could donate products or services, please send an e-mail or call (416) 631-0662 ext. 4040 and leave a detailed message about the item(s) or service(s) you would like to donate. A TWC volunteer or staff member will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!

*Note: Thank you for your kindness, but at this time we cannot accept anymore donations of linens with the exception of flannelette baby blankets.

Veterinary Program:

  • Medical supplies, for example:
  • syringes & needles
  • cover slips
  • microscope slides
  • sterile surgical gloves
  • face masks
  • suture materials
  • gauze and bandage supplies
  • bags of IV fluids
  • Idexx VetTest supplies
  • Many more medical, surgical and laboratory supplies are needed. Please contact us if you, have supplies to
    donate.

Rehabilitation Program:

 

  • Lee Valley Wagon & Side Racks (Lee Valley item # VA255) - this item will help to transport food and supplies to and from outdoor wildlife enclosures
  • Dog Igloos - all sizes (example: PetMate Dogloo, Indigo)
  • Hamster cages - in good condition (larger sizes are preferred)
  • Groceries, for example:
  • Performatrin canned kitten food
  • fresh or frozen berries (any kind)
  • frozen lake smelts
  • unsalted nuts and seeds with shells
  • Pedialyte (unflavoured)
  • so many more groceries are needed, so we would love to hear if you have any contacts that may be able to help us get donated groceries
  • Large and extra large kennel cabs in good condition
  • Branches, dried leaves
  • electric heating pads without Automatic shutoff
  • electric gram scales
  • heat lamps and / or shatter resistant bulbs for heat lamps
  • toilet paper (used for care of orphaned babies) 
  • unscented, bleach-free laundry detergent
  • paper towels
  • bleach
  • liquid hand soap
  • new brooms and dustpans
  • Pairs of women's and men's rubber boots, sizes 6 to 9
  • 9V batteries
  • Nets
  • Humidifiers

Gift Card Needs:

  • Gas stations, Lowes, Home Depot, Staples Business Depot, Office Depot, grocery stores, etc.

 

 

Wildlife Rescue Program:

  • A person involved with automobiles who is interested in helping wildlife by assisting with the upkeep of our Rescue Program van (routine maintenance as well as when problems arise)
  • High quality digital camera(s): minimum of 3 mega pixels, ideally with high optical zoom, and digital video camera (for recording rescues)
  • Toolkit (with, for example, screwdrivers, wire cutters and needlenose pliers)
  • Rechargeable flashlight
  • Petzl Myo5 headlamps (or equivalent)
  • Hip waders (sizes 9 to 10)
  • Large Lucky Strike fishing nets
  • Gas cards
  • Metal compartment clipboard

Organisational Needs:

  • Washing machine(s) in good working order
  • Fridge and/or freezer in good working order
  • Heavy duty metal shelving in good condition
  • LCD projector
  • Dollies
  • Three prong extension cords
  • Office Supplies (e.g. printer paper, envelopes, file folders, blank white printable business cards, blank CDs, blank DVDs, dry erase markers)
  • Ink/toner cartridges for Brother HL-2070N, Hewlett Packard D7160, Hewlett Packard 840C, and Hewlett Packard OfficeJet 5610
  • Postage stamps
  • New upright vacuum cleaner (commercial-grade) in good working condition
