Run to Save Wild Babies
October 21 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
RUN, WALK, CRAWL, HOP … TO SAVE WILD BABIES!
Join Toronto Wildlife Centre at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon to raise funds and support the care of many sick, injured and orphaned baby animals this season. During the busy spring and summer months, TWC admits hundreds of wild babies – many who have lost their parents.
TWC staff, volunteers and interns work long hours to treat, feed and raise these babies in preparation for their release back in the wild. Without the help from donors, wild baby Eastern screech owls found grounded wouldn’t be able to return to their nests, and orphaned baby Eastern cottontails wouldn’t have a chance to make a life of their own in the wild!
This year marks TWC’s 25th anniversary, and in celebration our goal is to raise $25,000! All funds will go towards giving wild babies the tomorrow’s they deserve. Since 1993, TWC has grown into Canada’s largest and busiest wildlife centre, and a leader in the field of wildlife rehabilitation – and we couldn’t have done it without the help from those who believed in helping to build a healthy community between people and wildlife!
Walk, skip or run for hundreds of wild babies being cared for at TWC … so they can run, climb, swim or fly free back in the wild! Register today and make sure to enter TWC’s discount code:
