Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Toronto Wildlife Centre.

Below are the steps an applicant to our volunteer program needs to take:

1) Check on the available volunteer positions here.

2) Fill-out one of the application forms found at the base of this page, noting the position(s) of interest

3) Send the application form to us by fax, e-mail or post.

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail and invited into the Centre to attend one of our General Orientation sessions. These sessions are held on a monthly basis and provide a ‘no obligation’ overview of TWC's programs and services, as well as details on the various roles volunteers play in assisting the Centre.

The Orientation will also detail the requirements and commitment necessary for each of our volunteer positions. Excepting volunteer drivers and intensive projects, we ask that volunteers commit to one shift a week for a minimum of 10 months or the equivalent thereof (i.e. two shifts weekly for 5 months).
