Dear Potential Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Toronto Wildlife
Centre. A Volunteer application form can be found at the bottom of
this page. After completing the application, please send it to the
address listed below. Once your application has been received, the
Volunteer Coordinator will contact you by phone or e-mail.
All new volunteers are asked to attend an
Information session that is generally held
once a month.
The session is strictly an opportunity for you to learn more about
the centre and
there is no obligation to commit to volunteering at that time.
The session will provide you with an overview of TWC's programs and
services, as well as outline the various roles volunteers play in
assisting the Centre.
You will also learn what the requirements are for our various
Volunteer Opportunities. The
Information
session will give you a better understanding of our volunteer
program and will enable you to decide which opportunity best fits
with your interests, schedule and talents.
Once a date for the next Information Session has been set, the
Volunteer Coordinator will notify you by phone or e-mail and it will
be posted on our website,
here. TWC
Orientations are filled on a first come first served basis, so
please contact the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as you can confirm
your attendance.
By mailing in a completed Volunteer Application, you are
taking the first step to helping wildlife in need! We look forward
to meeting you!
