Toronto Wildlife Centre is a registered charity, and relies on donations to help people and wildlife.
TWC is funded primarily by donations from individual members of the public, foundations, and like-minded organisations. TWC is not a government funded service (government sources comprised less than 5% of TWC’s total funding in 2008). Providing medical care to wildlife is extremely resource intensive and, each year, raising the funds needed to provide our services to the community is a significant challenge.
 
You can help wildlife by making a donation, helping to raise funds, providing TWC with networking opportunities, donating in-kind items and services, or volunteering.
 
Each year, Toronto Wildlife Centre meets (and exceeds) Canada Revenue Agency requirements for maintaining charitable status including keeping fundraising and administrative expenses under 20%.
