Toronto Wildlife Centre is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that truly believes in helping wildlife and the community through education, rehabilitation, and conservation.

Tim Arthur, DVM - Chair:
 Tim Arthur is a practising veterinarian and former partner of the Coxwell Animal Clinic in Toronto.  He is the past president of  The College of Veterinarians of Ontario.  He has provided volunteer veterinary service to Toronto Wildlife Centre for a number of years and joined the board in 2009. 
 
Nancy Patterson, B.Arch, MBA - Secretary: Nancy Patterson started volunteering with TWC in early 2000 providing event planning, design and management expertise including the invention & production of TWC’s Wild Ball Charity Event. Nancy joined the board in 2009 and brings creativity, marketing, business development and sales experience to the group. Nancy is now an independent consultant developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies for small to medium size corporate clients.

David Cornfield, CMA - Treasurer: David Cornfield is a self-employed management consultant, and Controller at World Wildlife Fund, Canada. He joined TWC's Board of Directors in 2012.
 
Brad Nathan, BA, IMBA, CA - Member: Brad Nathan is president of the merchant bank, Succession Capital Corporation. He possesses over a decade of experience in the financial and merchant banking community and has held positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Rothschild Group. He is a director of The Homes First Society, and sits on the young adult committee of POGO (The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario). Brad joined the TWC Board of Directors in 2005.

Valerie Gibson - Member: Valerie is a writer, author, speaker and media personality who has a lifelong passion for all animals and a deep concern for their welfare. A supporter of the Toronto Wildlife Centre for many years, she has recently joined the Board of Directors after a long career as a newspaper editor, columnist and television host. 

Lisa Tait - Member: Lisa Tait is a new addition to the TWC Board of Directors, joining in 2012.  She is passionate about animal welfare and protecting the wild friends in her community.  When she’s not rescuing baby raccoons or puppy dogs, her day job keeps her busy as the Director, Development & Marketing for the Jane Goodall Institute.   

Christie Kneteman, BA, JD
: - Member: Christie Kneteman is an Associate at Torys LLP, where her practice focuses on environmental, energy and infrastructure law.  In conjunction with Torys, Christie provides pro bono legal services to TWC.  Christie joined the TWC board in 2011.
